It has always been our endeavour to make GeeksBlogging@dotCOM as interesting as possible for all our Existing and New Readers. In our continuing efforts, we have now introduced the Subscribe by Email facility on GeeksBlogging@dotCOM, through Google Feedburner. You can see the link in our bar towards the right.

So, now you can just type in your email address in the box, and click “Keep me Updated!!” link. Every morning you would receive about the updates in your email inbox automatically about the new posts during the day on GeeksBlogging@dotCOM!

You also have the option of Registering with our website. The Link “Register Free” is located towards the top right of every page on GeeksBlogging@dotCOM. All registered users have an added advantage of receiving updates from the GeeksBlogging@doCOM Administrators informing, and polling the users of the changes that are about to be introduced on GeeksBlogging@dotCOM, and also the changes that they would like to see.

Not to mention the masala and the interesting Trivia questions mailed only to the Registered users! ;-)

Vikas has been working in Siebel CRM for about four and a half years now. He has worked for clients across the globe and in domains like Telecom, Pharma, BFS, Technology, Healthcare, and Shipping etc.

His core areas of expertise are Siebel EAI, Workflows, eScript, Configuration, Assignment manager.

Vikas likes to watch a lot of television in his free time. He has recently bought a new NOKIA 5800, experimenting with which has become his favourite hobby.

I have personally known Vikas as extremely hard working and innovative guy. Looking forward to solutions to some really strange problems from Vikas in the coming days. I request you all to extend a warm welcome to Vikas.

Now with this feature being available on GeeksBlogging@dotCOM, you no longer need to copy and paste the content on GeeksBlogging@dotCOM into your personal notepads, emails, etc. You may just add the link to your own profile on LinkedIn, or use the one click feature to email the post URL to any of your friends. Now, that is what we call ease of use.

]]> From our website analysis stats, we had noticed that the users logging onto GeeksBlogging@dotCOM were searching around for relevant content, once they finished reading a post. To make it easier for them to move around and gain knowledge on similar subjects, we have introduced the Related Posts feature.

Now, towards the end of each post entry, you would see GeeksBlogging@dotCOM automatically generate contextually similar posts related to the one you are currently reading. All the related posts are arranged in the order of relevance to the current blog post.

One very good method of searching for posts related to a particular topic is to use the ‘Categories’ in the right pane. However, at times this can return a very large number of results.

Another way people find handy is to use the ‘Tags’ in the right tag. The larger the number of posts on the related Tag, larger the size of the Tag name in the Tag Cloud. This can return posts similar not only in category, but even upto the particular module that is being used in the post.
